Little more than we expected in our dinner!

I don't usually buy Birds Eye Chicken Dippers and I certainly won't be buying them again, but for a buffet tea a few weeks back I bought some as a 'treat'.

We sat eating them and my husband found this little something extra in one, a sharp piece of plastic!

This is a 1p coin (note to self no good if you can't see how much it is)

Had it been my daughter or son it could have been much worse, I can't begin to think what could of happened if one of them had swallowed it!

We phoned them about it and they didn't seem to care (maybe it serves us right for buying them).

They said they'd send us a letter with a returns envelope, 5 days later we received it!

We sent it back off and today we received a rather none apologetic letter with £10 worth of Birds Eye vouchers in.

It's not the money we are interested in, we just wanted to be sure that it didn't happen again.

The letter we received sounds very suspicious of us, like we put it there ourselves. But I can assure you we didn't and it was very much inside a chicken dipper!

I once found what looked like a piece of metal in some deodorant, the company who made it was amazing. They sent me letters through each stage and offered in depth explanations as to what they thought it was.

I am not sure what we will do with the vouchers as I don't think I want to eat any more of their products!

Not sure what the captain or the polar bear would say!?!
